Dessert Apple Braeburn fruit trees - The original Braeburn apple was discovered and first grown commercially in New Zealand in 1952. This new clone is suitable for planting in the UK but does require a good long warm summer to fully ripen the fruit. The fruits have a firm flesh with a refreshing crisp flavour. Plant Braeburn in a sunny sheltered spot. Fruit size is medium with crisp, firm, aromatic red fruits. Picking time late October. Pollination group 4.
